ASSESSING OUR IMPACT

The National Center for College Costs strives to include an evaluation component in all that we do. While in-depth data analysis requires extensive time and resources, we have accumulated a good deal of information over the years that speak to the impact of our work. To learn more, select from the options below.

Parent Feedback

Feedback from parents is routinely collected following every College Costs Estimator workshop, providing insight into how this important activity helps shape parent perceptions and their plans for the college planning process.

Student Feedback

We regularly collect feedback from students who participate in our various college preparatory workshops. Ultimately their feedback helps us strengthen and enhance the programs we offer, as we help prepare them for college – and beyond.

Foundation Feedback

Learn what foundations have to say about how we help them systematically determine which applicants need their assistance most through the financial need analysis of applicants and the creation of customized applicant reports.

More In-depth Results

A Lumina Foundation for Education grant-funded, three-year pilot project with six Indiana high schools allowed us to gather and analyze a good deal of data related to our work in these schools, which are home to significant numbers of low-income, potentially first-generation college students. The impact of the programming protocol implemented was encouraging. Learn more about the project’s in-depth results.
