Increased Pell Grant Qualification
Word from Washington, D.C. has brought good news for the increased number of students that will qualify for a federal Pell Grant starting next academic year. The threshold for Pell Grant eligibility has been raised to $5,273 of Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from $4,617. For full-time students the minimum Pell Grant will be $550 and the maximum Pell Grant for students with a zero EFC will be $5,550.
